King Eider (Toronto): The young male that has been off Tommy Thompson Park was photographed on June 205. Eared Grebe (Rainy River): There were as many as 5 birds at the Rainy River Sewage Lagoons this week with sightings to at least June 22. BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The two birds found by Bill Lindley at Strathroy Sewage Lagoons on May 12 remained again all week. CURLEW SANDPIPER (Prescott and Russell): Robert Scranton found and photographed an adult at Alfred Sewage Lagoons on June 20. Unfortunately it has not been refound. Willet (Bruce): Bill Hatten photographed one on the beach south of Kincardine on June 21. Black Vulture (Toronto): Kai Sheffield found one overhead going west at Rosetta McClain Gardens in Scarborough on June 18 that was subsequently seen at a few other locations to the west. Lark Sparrow (Simcoe): The bird found by Scott Watson on June 14 at the Packard Tract west of Barrie on June 14 was reported fairly regularly (but is proving mostly elusive) to at least June 23. Kirtland's Warbler (Simcoe): Many observers enjoyed up to four singing males and a female at the Packard Tract west of Barrie this week.
