Details: I have tried to indicate the finder, where known. My apologies to those who I have left out. You can help me by giving the finder's name(s), if known, in your eBird checklists. BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK (Waterloo): Ky Lauzon found one at Rim Park in Waterloo on July 1 and it remained to be seen by many to at least July 24. BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The two birds found by Bill Lindley at Strathroy Sewage Lagoons on May 12 and their young were seen to at least July 25. American Avocet (Lambton): Three adults were found by James Holdsworth and Jeff Skevington at Kettle Point on July 23 and were seen by many that day. Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Simcoe): An adult was found near Beeton along 10th Line by Adam Capparelli on July 24 which continued to July 25. Willet (Lambton): Matt Parsons photographed one at Kettle Point on July 24. Willet (Timiskaming): Chris Pritchard reported a group of six on the Wabi River just outside of New Liskeard on July 26. NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Frontenac): Jenny Newton photographed one in Cataraqui Bay on July 28. LITTLE BLUE HERON (Hamilton): The immature bird reported from Foreman Rd near Valens CA on July 21 by Rowan Keunen remained to be seen by many to at least July 25. YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (Hamilton): Presumably the same adult seen earlier this month at LaSalle Park was reported from various locations near Pier 4 Park July 25-27. Western Meadowlark (Kawartha Lakes): The bird found by JulieAnn Prentice on Shrike Rd on July 3 remained until at least July 25.
