Weather: Day began drizzly and cloudy, cleared up by noon. Temperature around 23, wind moderate from the southwest. Raptor Observations: Only two birds today, a Northern Harrier and Coopers Hawk. NH flying to the North along the treeline. CH was immature flying from the East over the tower. Non-raptor Observations: Total of 44 species were seen today, with large movements of Purple Martins this morning. Quite a few Warbling Vireos too! Many Cedar Waxwings and flocks of Grackles. Not many warblers today, only a Magnolia and Yellow Warbler.
