Weather: Stiff, mostly NW winds throughout the day with variables clouds and a few brief sprinkles.Temps from 8C-11C. Raptor Observations: Good diversity, including the first Golden Eagle of the year (an extremely high adult that disappeared into the cloud), but surprisingly modest overall numbers. Non-raptor Observations: eBird list here: https://ebird.org/checklist/S120159255 Predictions: Stiff winds are predicted -- the size and flavour of the flight will depend on the WNW-W-WSW balance. Straight W will be a problem. WSW could pull some Peregrines later in the day. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Chris Burris ([email protected]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm More site information at hawkcount.org: https://hawkcount.org/siteinfo.php?rsite=392 -- Ontbirds and Birdnews are moderated email Listservs provided by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) as a service to all birders in Ontario.
