There were a few flurries and a few patches of sun, but overcast predominated. Temps were around 3C most of the count period. Raptor Observations: Given the northerly mix in thw wind, we certainly hoped for more, but it's likely that bands of mixed precipitation further east capped the flight pretty severely. Non-raptor Observations: Lots of Tundra Swans on the move today, with one overhead flock including a lone Snow Goose. Predictions: Partly sunny and NW wind is a set up for a better flight. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Chris Burris ([email protected]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm More site information at hawkcount.org: https://hawkcount.org/siteinfo.php?rsite=392 -- Ontbirds and Birdnews are moderated email Listservs provided by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) as a service to all birders in Ontario.
