CINNAMON TEAL (Rainy River): Mirabai Alexander reported one from Wilson Creek Rd on May 18. Eared Grebe (Essex): Barb Newman reported one from the Chrysler Canada Greenway on May 13. Western Grebe (RAINY RIVER): Bob Saunders reported one from Sable Island on May 15. Eurasian Collared-Dove (Essex): Mark Patry, and Michelle and Paul Martin reported the bird found previously at Albuna Townline outside of Leamington on May 16. White-winged Dove (Durham): Peter Darcy found one in his yard at Thickson's Point on May 13 that was seen by several observers the same day. Yellow Rail (Kawartha Lakes):Jessie Barry and Chris Wood recorded one near Windmill Ranch on Wylie Road on May 13 and the same or another was reported the next day (May 14) by George Bryant. Yellow Rail (Peterborough): Up to two birds, found by Tim Haan were reported this week from Miller Creek. BLACK-NECKED STILT (Essex): Bama Pelan found one at Hillman Marsh on May 12 that was seen by many to at least May 17. BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The pair continued this week at Strathroy Sewage Lagoons. BLACK-NECKED STILT (Wellington): Timothy Griffiths and Jeff DeRuyter found two at Drayton Sewage Lagoons on May 13 that were seen by many to at least May 17. WHIMBREL (EUROPEAN) (Durham): Jax Nasimok, Debra Beattie and Ted Nasimok found one at Whitby Harbour on May 15. BLACK-HEADED GULL (Toronto): Brian Stahls found one at Ashbridge's Bay Park on May 13 that was seen by several others the same day. NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Prince Edward): One bird was at Prince Edward Point again this week to at least May 17. Snowy Egret (Essex): One bird was at Hillman Marsh May 12. TRICOLORED HERON (Simcoe): Phyllis Tremblay reported 1 at Heritage Park in Barrie on May 13. Cattle Egret (Wellington): Timothy Griffiths and Jeff DeRuyter found one at Drayton Sewage Lagoons on May 13 that were seen by many to at least May 17. Black Vulture (Frontenac): Dianne Croteau and Richard Brault photographed two at Burbrook Rd. Trail on May 15. Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to six birds were reported this week from Queenston. Black Vulture (Simcoe): Several lucky observers photographed one over McKinnon Rd on May 15. Mississippi Kite (Chatham-Kent): Dean Post, Karla Everard and Patricia Quackenbush photographed one over Wheatley PP on May 13. Mississippi Kite (Essex): There were many reports this week from Point Pelee, with possibly two or more birds involved. LEWIS'S WOODPECKER (Manitoulin): The long-staying bird was reported again this week. Townsend's Solitaire (Parry Sound): A group of breeding bird atlassers found one while practicing the art of point counting on Hurdville Rd west of Burnetts Rd on May 17. EURASIAN TREE SPARROW (Algoma): Carter Dorscht et al. had a minimum of five and possibly as many as eight at St. Joseph Island MBS/Fort St. Joseph NHS on May 13. EURASIAN TREE SPARROW (Rainy River): Bob Saunders photographed one at his yard north of Devlin on May 14 and 15. EURASIAN TREE SPARROW (Thunder Bay): Harold Gordon Smith reported one at Rossport on May 14. Lindy Wagenaar reported another one near Hurkett on May 18. Worm-eating Warbler (Essex): There was one near the tip of Point Pelee on May 13. Worm-eating Warbler (Halton): David Flook found one at City View Park in Burlington on May 14 that was subsequently seen by many to at least May 18. Kentucky Warbler (Chatham-Kent): There was one at Rondeau on May 13. Kentucky Warbler (Essex): One bird was seen by many at Kopegaron Woods May 12-14. Kirtland's Warbler (Hamilton): Rob Dobos found one at Edgelake Park in Stoney Creek on May 16. Yellow-throated Warbler (Chatham-Kent): Cathy Kuepfer found one at South Point Trail in Rondeau on May 17. Yellow-throated Warbler (Essex): At least one bird was at Point Pelee on May 13. One bird was at Fish Point on Pelee Island May 13-14. Lark Sparrow (Thunder Bay): Lindy Wagenaar reported one near Hurkett on May 18. Summer Tanager (Chatham-Kent): At least two birds were at Rondeau May 13-17. Summer Tanager (Essex): Andrew Wiebe reported one from Holiday Beach on May 12 and another or the same was there May 15. Several individuals were at Point Pelee May 13-17. Mark Nenadov reported one from Brunet Woods on May 18. Summer Tanager (Norfolk): Jack Alvo photographed a female at Long Point (Old) provincial park on May 13. Summer Tanager (Northumberland): Brian Durell photographed a young male at the Calf Pasture in Presqu'ile on May 12. Summer Tanager (Prince Edward): Brian Clifford reported one at Prince Edward Point on May 12. WESTERN TANAGER (Essex): Anthony Kaduck found one at Point Pelee on May 18. Blue Grosbeak (Brant): One bird was reported from a private backyard in St. George this week. Blue Grosbeak (Bruce): Jarmo Jalava reported one flying over Red Bay Rd on May 12. Blue Grosbeak (Chatham-Kent): George Prieksaitis reported one at Rondeau on May 12. Another was reported flying past Zion Rd on May 16. Blue Grosbeak (Essex): Many observers saw one fly over the tip of Point Pelee on May 12. Blue Grosbeak (Norfolk): Matthew Timpf reported one near Walsingham on May 13. PAINTED BUNTING (Algoma): Lindsay Bellini photographed one in Sault Ste Marie on May 15. Another was reported by Georgia Clifford in Hornepayne on May 18. Dickcissel (Essex): One was seen by many at the tip of Point Pelee on May 12 and up to two were reported there on May 13.
