?Birding was steady today so far, with new migrants coming in during the night. Overnight rain gave way to sunny skies and conditions are good for birders and birds. About 22 species of warbler have been noted so far. At the Tip, both YELLOW-BILLED and BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO were noted and other migrants were in the Tip woods as well as the area near the Tram Loop. A couple of AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS were at the Tip. One SANDERLING was seen at the Tip too. There was an OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER was found at the north end of Redbud, near post number 17 of the Woodland Trail. PROTHONOTARY WARBLERs are continuing on Woodland Trail near bridge F and between A and C bridges. A CONNECTICUT WARBLER was noted near the east seasonal trail head on the Tilden Trail along with at least two
YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHERS. Also in that area a MOURNING WARBLER, and CANADA WARBLER were noted. There was a GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH and also seen in the area. The PROTHONOTARY along Shuster?s Trail was seen again today.
