Hi everyone, I hope you've enjoyed a wonderful spring migration! We've sure seen some fabulous rarities in the province this year so far. We're halfway through the year now and though we're all out enjoying the busiest time of the breeding season, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone to *submit your reports documenting rare bird sightings! *Whether you were the single observer or were standing amongst a crowd of dozens, we would love to receive a report from you. The more documentation we have for any record, the better! Submitting a report is easy, at a minimum requiring the date and location of observation with a description of the bird and what led you to your identification. Reports may be submitted through the OBRC's *online submission form <http://ofo.ca/site/Obrcreport> *or via email to the OBRC Secretary ([email protected]). Please send supporting documents such as photos, videos, sound recordings or drawings directly to the secretary and include your name and the species in your email. The review lists for the three reporting regions as well as guidelines for reporting can be found *here* <http://ofo.ca/site/page/view/obrc.guidelines>. A huge thanks to everyone who has submitted reports so far for your contributions to scientific knowledge and our understanding of the occurrence and distribution of Ontario's avifauna! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
