Details: I have tried to indicate the finder, where known. My apologies to

LIMPKIN (Lanark): The one found by Nui Esser photographed one along the
MIssissippi River downstream of Dalhousie Lakehas been subsequently seen by
several observer to at least August 11

American Avocet (Bruce): Patrick Scanlon found one at Oliphant on August 16.

Marbled Godwit (Essex): PIBO staff reported three birds at Fish Point on
August 11.

Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Huron): Several observers found one bird on August
17 at Exeter Sewage Lagoons.

Black-legged Kittiwake (Hamilton): Rob Dobos found one off Van Wagner's
Beach on August 15.

Sabine's Gull (Essex): Jeremy Hatt and Michael McAllister had one at Point
Pelee on August 15.

NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (York): The bird at Davos Pond continued this week.
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Frontenac): Phil Harvey reported one from Cataraqui
Bay on August 17.
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Norfolk): Stu Mackenze reported two from the tip of
Long Point on August 14.

Snowy Egret (Essex): As many as two birds were reported this week from
Hillman Marsh.

LITTLE BLUE HERON (Essex): Two immatures continued this week near
Amherstburg to at least August 16.

YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (ESSEX): One bird was seen by many at Colonel
Sam Smith Park this week.

Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to three birds were reported this week from the
Okanagan valley.
