*Overview*: It was a quiet week for rarities this week, but there were still a few sightings within the Kingston Circle. *Parish Notes: * *Please note the new email address at the bottom of the report that can be used to submit observations if you are not using eBird.* *Kingston List* GREATER SCAUP – 5 birds were seen in Cataraqui Bay on June 20 LESSER SCAUP – 1 bird was seen at Prince Edward Point NWA (PEC) on June 20; 3 were seen in Cataraqui Bay on June 20 COMMON GOLDENEYE – 1 bird was seen on Nut Island (L&A) on June 18 LEAST BITTERN – 1 bird was seen at the Moscow Marsh (L&A) on June 20 RED-HEADED WOODPECKER – 2 birds were seen on Howe Island Drive on June 19; 2 were seen in Frontenac Park on June 20 FISH CROW – 1 bird was seen in Sackets Harbor, NY (JC) on June 16; 1 bird was seen on Queens University Campus (near University Ave) on June 19 YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER – 1 bird was seen at 104 Hardwood Lane on June 15 NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD - 1 bird was seen on Sweets Corners Road (L&G) on June 15 CAROLINA WREN – 1 bird was seen on Amherst Island (L&A) on June 17 RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET – LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH – 1 bird was seen on Canoe Lake Road on June 19 PRAIRIE WARBLER – 1 bird was seen on Jones Falls Road L&G) on June 15; 2 were seen on Fishing Lake Road on June 15 ORCHARD ORIOLE – 1 bird was seen on Concession Road 3 (L&A) on June 15; 1 bird was seen on Amherst Island (L&A) on June 17, 1 on June 18; 2 were seen at Lemoine Point on June 18 In order to minimise disturbance to wildlife and property in the recording area, Kingston Field Naturalists has adopted the KFN Sensitive Sightings Policy <https://kingstonfieldnaturalists.org/wildlife/kfn-sensitive-sightings-policy/>. Permits are being checked on a regular basis at Amherstview and those without are being evicted. KFN members wishing to enter the Invista property must enter through the west gate and show their membership card to security.
