Good morning
A rather wet morning to greet our first day of the Birdiing Festival.
Birds are being noted despite the damp weather. HOODED WARBLER, and
BLUE-WINGED WARBLER were noted in two locations, on Woodland Nature Trail
and in Tilden Woods just up on Chinquapin.
PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS were also seen in Tilden and Woodland Nature Trails
in there usual wet slough locations.
Up to 5 BALD EAGLES were reported at the Tip and a couple COMMON LOONS were
also noted there.
RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen in Tilden Woods too.
NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH are still being noted in wetland habitats on the
trails.
About 10 species of warbler have been noted so far today.
