This weekend is crucial to the Kerry campaign. Your help is needed to work
in your local community canvassing and making phone calls. Your help
is also needed in the battleground states. The polls are extremely close in
the battleground states and Bush still leads in electoral votes
according to most electoral surveys. The Kerry campaign has to close the
gap in these battleground states in the next several days.
 If you can make phone calls from your home to battleground states, please sign up for Phone Corps. Even if you are making calls locally through phone banks your help is still desperately needed to make calls to the must win battleground states of Colorado, Iowa, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. To make phone calls for Kerry you first have to register in the Volunteer Center and select a password and then click on Phone Corps to begin making calls. The eBlocks system is very easy to use and you are given a list of names and numbers and a script to use. Encourage members of your family and friends to vote for Kerry. Talk to people you know at school and work.  Bush is currently ahead in the polls in some of the battleground states and races in others are extremely close and could go either way. Kerry has to win enough electoral votes in those states to win this election. If you are near one of these states or can travel to one of them for the last days and hours of this campaign please consider signing up for Kerry Travelers. Many times a personal appeal from a family member or friend can make all of the difference in how a person votes.
