Rev. Karla Sanborn, senior deacon of Milwaukee
Metropolitan Community Church, has sent this message to the church's email
list.
"It is my sad
duty to inform everyone that our beloved Pastor Rev,
Lewis A. Broyles Jr. has passed away May 16, 2005. As difficult as it is, he would not want us to be sad. He was always one to embrace life, and all the joys it could bring. Please keep his friends and family in your prayers. If you should need anything, please call me at 414-881- 1424. More details to follow." Rev. Broyles was stricken while on a visit to
Mississippi, where he had pastored the Jackson MCC earlier in his career. He was
also associated with the Cathedral of Hope in Dallas before moving to Milwaukee.
Rev. Broyles was 50 years old.
There will be a memorial service for Rev. Broyles
at Milwaukee MCC at 2pm on June 4th.
