How is the work on synced Flex/Bison C++ skeletons progressing?

Sorry, I don't know what this refers to.

If one should get a working C++ lexer/parser, the Flex skeleton must be rewritten, too as well.

As far as I know, Flex
development has stalled.

Perhaps, perhaps not. The Flex folks, it seems, communicate less publicly. It only requires somebody willing to do the job, just as in the case of Bison. Perhaps the same fellows must write both the Flex and Bison C++ skeletons, to get them properly synced.
