<https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=998105> The last entry is from 12/2023 and it would seem (?) to me that the issue I have posted *may* be related to that bug report. ie: as BiT will not work if I purge gnome-keyring, I think we can safely say that it is using gnome-keyring instead of the presently installed python3-keyring.
