I have the same problem with Linux Mint 8 x64, but I also had it in
Linux Mint 7 x32. My drive has 400 GB free space, but back in time seems
to be deleting snapshots randomly.

I have just disabled smart "older than" which was set to 10 years and
smart remove. Will see if that helps.

Oh, and I also have it set to backup every hour.

Bug description:
I have been running BIT for a bit over a week now and it will only keep the 
previous day's backup.  I had smart remove on and have tried it with it off... 
never have more than today's and yesterday's backups.  Please help.
