This really doesn't help binary-based distributions, since the command available on my system when I build a package may not be available on your system when you run it.
I suggest you default to the safest option, and trust the package maintainers to patch the desktop file appropriately. -- kdesudo not available in Gentoo https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389988 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Back In Time Team, which is subscribed to Back In Time. Status in Back In Time: Fix Committed Bug description: The desktop file for starting Back in Time as root uses kdesudo which seems to be an Ubuntu (Kubuntu) specific program. In Gentoo this program doesn't exist. Instead kdesu should be used. kdesu is part of KDE so it should be available on all Linux distributions. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~bit-team Post to : bit-team@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~bit-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
