Hi,
this is something between a bug and an RFE.
It seems that it is not possible to move the OE directory including tmp within
the filesystem without breaking things. This even after replacing all config
related entries to make them point to the new location.
It would be nice if OE were using path entries relative to the top OE directory
instead of absolute ones including full path. This way it would be possible to
move the complete directory without breaking things and having to clean out
./tmp which might not be obvious to the average user.
