the bitbake shell chokes on the configure target for some packages. Going the
whole nine yards with rebuild works fine, but taking the steps individually
does not always work.
I will attach a log where I did a "rebuild granule" which went all the way to
do_install, failed there, but that is not the issue here. Calling "configure
granule" straight afterwards, a step that previously passed without problems
bails out. I have witnessed this on other packages as well.
