Summary: Substituting PR if SRCDATE = "now"
           Product: BitBake
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: BitBake
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
         QAContact: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

PR makes no sense with packages that have SRCDATE = "now" set.
Besides, the a output named "package_svnnow-r0.ipk" is pretty meaningless
anyway.

hrw made a suggestion to edit base.bbclass and so i did. i come up with the
attached patch that makes PR being meaningful for SRCDATE = "now."

Now the thing to discuss before it gets in is, is this the proper place to
override PR or would the BitBake guru's say this needs to be done elsewhere?
