https urls do work and we have the username and password parameters if
authentication is needed. If svn prompts about the certificates then that can
cause a problem and the user will need to manually run an svn command and
accept them before bitbake can use the urls but there isn't much we can (or
should?) do about that. For that reason https should be avoided in OE.dev
though.
