I think a 1.12 series with the parallel parsing work in it would be a
nice move. I have been hoping we'd have some of the fetcher rework ready
for the next release too and get the Poky bitbake sync up finished but
realistically I'm a couple of weeks away from the time window I have
allocated for that as the Yocto development freeze is right now and
conflicts.

I can think of at least one logging patch I have which should go into
1.12. I'll merge that one into bitbake master today to give people some
time to test it and then how about a release of 1.12 next week?

I'll also see if I an at least get the fetch2 changes from Poky into
bitbake master since they're stabilising now and won't affect anything
unless you explicitly use the new fetcher code so they shouldn't put the
release at risk.

Cheers,

Richard
