Hi Earlier we were able to call the temp/run.do_* task scripts from anywhere in workdir and it would do the required chdir itself which was a handy behaviour but now it seems to know the current directory and depends on it. So unless I am not in the builddir it wont do the job and will report messages like nothing to compile etc.
I think the old behaviour was much useful because one could be in any subdir when fixing a package and dont have to worry about going into specific dir to launch the scripts I discussed this with Chris briefly on IRC and he thinks it should be fixed in bitbake too.
