I have been getting a message like below
NOTE: multiple providers are available for runtime psplash-support
(psplash, psplash-angstrom, psplash-omap3pandora, psplash-ti)
and later
ERROR: Multiple .bb files are due to be built which each provide
virtual/psplash
(/home/kraj/work/newoe/sources/meta-angstrom/recipes-core/psplash/psplash-angstrom_svn.bb
/home/kraj/work/newoe/sources/meta-angstrom/recipes-core/psplash/psplash_svn.bb).
The reason is console-image -> pslash-zap -> pslash-angastrom
and pslash-angastrom_svn.bb has RDEPEND_${PN} = "psplash-support"
and bitbake picks up psplash_svn.bb to provide psplash-support
It is not doing anything wrong per se since its free to choose a
provider but I think it would be nice if it weighed the multiple
providers to select which one to choose. Then we would realize that
pslash-angstrom is already picked up so it should prioritize to use
that one.
