Dominique: Bother. db2latex doesn't really help me that much, since I'm not doing docbook. For the moment, at least, I want to stick with XSLT for the moment, though I'm reluctantly coming to the conclusion that Perl may be worth a look. I just can't stand Perl.
>From your description, though, it sounds like you used some pre-existing module to normalize whitespace? Since you (presumably) know perl, I wonder if you might check the following details about that literal newline in the paragraph handler and let me know what the answers are: 1. Is the newline emitted before or after the paragraph? That is, is it leading or trailing? 2. If leading (trailing), is there special handling for the first (last) paragraph in a sequence to suppress the additional newline? If so, what handling? shap _______________________________________________ bitc-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.coyotos.org/mailman/listinfo/bitc-dev
