Not to mention the ambiguity with the comparison operators - C#
resolves this according to nearby whitespace in one case (yuck).

I don't really think syntax is a big deal these days. if you want to
read code in a different style, you can always make your editor do
that. Having to deal with typed s-expressions on the odd occasion I
ssh into the production server when I'm away from my machine and find
myself staring at BitC code (!) is something I can probably live with.

Besides that, I prefer two :: for separating type expressions, to make
them stand out more.
