I can pull a couple of examples from metacompilation ideas, and of course there are lots of uses for debugging and analysis, but I can't say that any of those are so motivating that they compel me to want reflection. Further: of those examples, the only one that can't be done by adding another layer to the VM stack is the metacompilation one. shap
