Just incidentally, this is the release that was *supposed* to include the
new GC support. The GC stuff actually deployed incompletely in LLVM-3.6, so
we need to track "tip" on that for a while longer, but it should be in
general and complete deployment by LLVM-3.7 (which shouldn't be far off).

Subject: [llvm-announce] LLVM 3.5.2 Release!
To: [email protected]

LLVM 3.5.2 is now available! Download it now, or read the release notes.

This release contains bug-fixes for the LLVM 3.5.0 release and is both
API and ABI compatible with 3.5.0.

Important fixes in this release include:

- Fix for miscompilation of libapr
- Fix for miscompilation when using lifetime intrinsics, which was
  affecting the Rust compiler.
- Various MIPS fixes.

LLVM 3.5.2 would not be possible without the help of our volunteer
release team! Thanks to all the release testers:

Renato Golin, Ben Pope, Hans Wennborg, Sebastian Dreßler, and Daniel
Sanders.

Also, a big thanks to everyone else who helped identify critical bugs,
track down bug-fixes, and resolve merge conflicts.

If you have questions or comments about this release, please contact
the LLVMdev mailing list!
