Just thought i'd share some information on how to add sub keys in gnugpg
(http://www.gnupg.org/gph/en/manual.html), which is something that has
been vexing me for a while.

After you have created your key pair, sometimes you'd like to recieve
email to an aliased address, or name at a secondary domain on the same
server. You can do this by adding subkeys.

Open a command prompt to edit your key...
mailserver% gpg --edit-key [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Walk through the process of generating a new key, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
command> adduid

Add the new key [EMAIL PROTECTED]
command> addkey

command> quit

Now you will have to regenerate your public key for redistribution (sort
of vexing, but no way around it)

mailserver% gpg --armor --export [EMAIL PROTECTED] > mypublickey.pub

And then mail it or add it to your keyserver.

Cheers,
sach
