I usually stay out of the PC vs Mac debate .. but I
will say that I've been using Winblowz and Redhat
Linux pretty sucessfully over the last few years.
I have used Macs, but I'm not really impressed.. that
is until I saw OS X .. Very nice OS .. all Vector
Graphics. The only problem with that is some
applications do not work in OSX, so you have to load
OS 9 to use them. You can virtually load os9( still
kinda a pain) your old apps inside of OSX.
And then there is the software issue. It's a pain to
get copies of apps ( At least for me ) for the Mac. I
can find PC apps all over the place ( I can't say how
or where ) and usually pretty easy to install..
I don't think I will install Windows XP though ..
especially since I have learned you can only use one
copy per machine ( yuck! ) but I might get XP with one
of those Dell 1 GHz notebooks that are under 2 Grand
.. can you believe how these things have fallen !! We
should all rush out and buy notebooks ..
