Did anyone else read this? I started it, and it seemed like a typical
anti M$ rant, but then i got to the bottom, and it started to sound very
bad for lots of people.

Basically, M$ is abandoning the EMBED tag in the new versions of IE, so
you won't be able to use Quicktime, or Applets, or any other plugins that
depend on the old Netscape Plugin architecture.

i'm curious as to anyone elses thoughts on this... Keeping in mind that
this column is by the guy that feels microsoft's security holes are
intentional, so they can swoop in and develop their own proprietary
version of TCP/IP
