check out /etc/hosts.deny on your home box to see what IP's are banned,
and /etc/hosts.allow to see which are allowed, sshd is aware of
tcpwrappers so it will pick and choose who can and can't connect using
those rules. Also, if running portsentry, check out it's config files and
see what it's sensitive to.
