bandwidth for mailing lists?

i've been thinking about moving a mailing list to my linux box/416k DSL
line.

it has 1000 subscribers, with an additional 900 on digest, and medium
traffic (average 15 posts a day).

What kind of bandwidth/ network/ hardware requirements should I have to
run a fast efficient mail list? Can a dsl line support a list of that
size?
