Xfree86 is native on OS X. It's even part of the source tree. The best part is that the OS X version get its it's monitor/card info from DriverKit, so you don't have to configure a durned thing. A close second is rootless mode, your X stuff runs alongside cocoa, carbon seamlessly. It's better integrated than classic even. tack
