I saw on the reg that hushmail is now interoperating w/ PGP. Hushmail is
a free webmail service that allows you to encrypt your email.

Previously, you could only send encrypted email to other hushmail users
because they didn't use PGP, and you couldn't import/export keys. They
have apparently switched to using OpenPGP now, and they have a site
www.hushtools.com that allows you to upload/download your public PGP key
so hushmail users can encrypt mail to you and vs/versa

You can also upload your private key, so you can use the same one, tho
that sounds a little frightening to me.

Not i suppose that it matters to most of us that much since we use Pine
and GPG through a shell. But cool nonetheless.

I haven't tried it throughly, and it didn't seem to work too well from
Netscape 4/Solaris, but if it is usable from 'doze, maybe i'll try to get
my friends that use hotmail or yahoo to switch.
