John: I have a network with about 12 users that is sharing one 1.5Mb DSL connection. What I'm trying to do is to limit the amount of bandwith that the computers that are always connected to gnutella can use, so that the rest of us can at least browse the web. >From looking at netfilter it looks like the only thing you can do is drop x number of packets per second. Is that how rate limitations is done? You say to/from this host, drop 20 packets a second? It seems like there should be a more elegant solution. I don't really understand iptables that well though, so perhaps i'm missing something. -Lkb _______________________________________________ Bits mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.sugoi.org/mailman/listinfo/bits
