I don't have time at the moment to try to figure out the answer to Paul's
question (I don't know very much about .htaccess stuff either), but maybe
one of y'all do?

Thanks!

Subject: .htaccess question

Hiya,

having a weird problem with htaccess....

I copied and edited a .htaccess file sach made for adam.

basically it is:

AuthUserFile
/home/dor3mus/public_html/extranet/clients/seebeyond/.htpasswd
AuthName dor3mus_seebeyond
AuthType Basic
<Limit GET>
require valid-user
</Limit>

then I type htpasswd -c .htpasswd seebeyond

when I go there in a browser I get:

Configuration Error

The server encountered an error while processing your request.

Please contact the administrator of the referring document and inform them
of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may
have caused the error.

The CGI environment at the time of this error was

any idea what I'm doing wrong? there are other dirs with .htaccess
working fine...like the one sach did.

thanks,

--paulo
