In your exports file (/etc/exports), when you specify what servers have
access to what exported directories, in the parenthetical list of options
associated with the server(s) on which you want superusers to be able to
access the exported directories with superuser privileges, add the option
"no_root_squash".  So, for example, if you have directory "foo" exported
to all servers in your private LAN, and you want them all to have
superuser privileges available in foo, the line would look like:

foo     192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0(rw,no_root_squash)
