install emacs? <- /me stating the obvious

If you do install Cygwin, you can have it also install the openssl/openssh
stuff, and instead of opening two putty shells, you can just create an
alias or a bash script to do:

ssh -L 22:agamemnon:22 erik@megatron

and shell into 'localhost' just like with putty's tunneling.
