You misunderstand me.  This project I'm working on requires streaming
audio but there's no way that corporate security will open a hole in the
firewall for the stream, so we need to figure out some other way to get
the stream past the firewall.  This way seems the most straightforward I
could think of.

BTW, I am writing this to you on my newly installed Linux box, which, I am
grieved to report, I was able to make only by wiping the XP box they agve
me.  It's the only non-windoze box in the joint.  The subversive
infiltration has begun.
