to the best of my knowledge, yer screwed.
netscape will automatically tile, regardless...
IE will allow for a background to stay in one place, but it will only work with ie...
The only other possible option I can think of, is to make is a table background and hope for the best.

I want to make a background image in html, that is small, just sits in
the upper left hand corner. But I want my text (title, tables etc) to
be able to overlay the image. When I size my image to be as small as
I want it, it tiles when I include it in the <body> tag. If I include
it with the img tag, the rest of the page is pushed away from it.
Suggestions?
