If you just want to rip to the HD, http://www.dvddecrypter.com (win32)
works great, is very fast and free. If you also want to burn, dvd2one
http://www.dvd2one.com is essential -- at $40 it ain't free but I it's
definitely worth it. Put in a 9GB DVD, press go, and it'll create a
4.7GB DVD filesystem which you can burn with your favorite software.
Menus, everything, with no noticeable loss of quality, and lightening
fast. I tried the linux and free win32 stuff for a while, but it's a
pain for DVDs over 4.7 GB. For DVD ripping on win32, doom9 has all
the info you will ever want http://www.doom9.org/.
