When I was at Inktomi, we used MySQL to store all sorts of
stuff - all the data we used to bill customers - and it was
great for that.
Because it's fast. So, so so so sooooooooooo fast.
I also really like the fine-grained permissions that you can
create and use. Much better than postgres'.
