A guy I work with just found out that the DMV didn't forward his
registration information to the SF registrar of voters... has to go to a
judge tomorrow and get it resolved. What a pisser.

And down here in Santa Clara county, on Friday I received a notice
saying that the polling place has changed... but when I checked the
county registrar of voters website and phone system, both still have the
old location on file. Hmmmm, me wonders if something funny is going on?

I voted absentee.

Subject: [Bits] vote paper ballot...

Apologies for a brief PSA --

I'm sure I dont need to tell y'all this but, request a paper ballot even

if they dont offer you one.

In alameda county I read in this wk's East Bay Express that 24% of
electronic machines failed during the presidential primary just this
past MARCH. Ouch.
