I'm not sure if this came up or not, but hosting a PBX is what I do. We host your PBX on our asterisk machines. I buy origination and termination in bulk, so most of my customers get one bill with all their phone costs on it. If you want to tinker with asterisk, then you should call somebody else, but if you want an IP based PBX without any maintenance or hardware (besides the phones), that's what we do.
Normally we use Aastra telephone sets on site, but we can be flexible about that. Is that what you are looking for? -----Original Message----- From: Nabeel Jafferali [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: March 22, 2007 2:50 PM To: 'Prosper Luteganya'; [email protected] Subject: RE: [biz] Hosted Announcement Service I was hoping to use somebody's platform, not have one designed for this application. I am looking for a hosted service, not somebody to design the service solely for this customer. > -----Original Message----- > From: Prosper Luteganya [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: March 22, 2007 2:47 PM > To: Nabeel Jafferali; [email protected] > Subject: Re: [biz] Hosted Announcement Service > > Hi Nabeel, > > Is the platform already implemented and so only needs > hosting, or needs to be designed, implemented and thereafter hosted? > > Rgds > > Prosper > www.dukatech.com > > > > ----- Original Message ---- > From: Nabeel Jafferali <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: [email protected] > Sent: Thursday, March 22, 2007 11:08:42 AM > Subject: [biz] Hosted Announcement Service > > > Hello. > > I have a customer that has a couple of "announcement" lines. > People call in to here announcements, with different menu options. > > I need somebody to host this service, providing them easy > access to change the specific announcement on a regular basis > (with the menu structure probably only being changed very > rarely).
