800ms PLUS OR MINUS 70ms???? This IS a newbie question! I'm all new to this game, but for what I understand, the latency, at the very least should be steady, so.....
???? I'm new to ping and tracert (in window$)... But that is what I get when I test my route from Calgary to www.lagoon.nc (country code 687). What is interesting is that many resellers offer termination to 687: how do they do it? Is there a particular location in Oz or SE Asia where I could locate a hosted server running * to optimize voip back to North America? I know of a major submarine fiber across the Pacific that serves Fiji, but on checking some IPs it looks like Fiji hosting companies use servers in California... How about Honolulu? Any way to locate an * box there? How well is Honolulu connected to the West? Tks Christian D
