Thanks Simon,

There is interest in this area of business of consolidating our buying
power. I have spoken to Reza a little while ago on this concept. Our
company and one other are working on putting together a "co-operative"
business model together. So far the model has been working as we have just
added another company to our line-up and have managed to reduce our costs
some.

I think the most important factor when participating in something like this
is to put your immediate benefit factor aside and consider what you can
contribute to the whole. It takes a special kind of business owner to
participate and place the personal benefit factor into a long term
perspective.

Long term if enough companies join on we can turn this into an association
so, if your company has a similar vision, feel free to contact me via email.

Subject: [biz] Re: [on-asterisk] DID question

Just going to shift this over to the business list, as I'm going to
change the direction a bit...

Would there be enough interest and weight behind us if we formed a
business co-op of some sort to purchase these services in bulk, and
get ourselves good reps within the likes of Bell, Rogers, Allstream,
and such providers?

Cheers,
spd
