I have no problem sharing information at all... but not necessarily I like to
spoon feed ;). Spoon feeding is reserved for paid clients :).
Really... all one needs to know is out in the open and is no secret. I am not
only referring to major DID providers in the GTA but others as well -- the list
beyond the scope of this email.
The key to what you want to hear/learn more about was already in my previous
post. There's only about 29 or 30 CLECs in Canada. Either they or their
clients will be happy to help you.
In the US, there are over 300 CLECs. Both American and Canadian CLECs today
have the ability to provide you with both American & Canadian DIDs.
Competition among CLECs is fierce. They want your business. You knock, they
will talk. The larger CLECs are slow to move than the smaller CLECs. The
smaller CLECs is who I prefer to do business with.
In many cases, I prefer to do business with the companies who purchase the
services from the CLECs (many of whom are here in the TAUG list -- at least 6 I
know personally & purchased services from). It really depends on what the
client needs.

It's great that you are sharing this info with us. My guess was based on
single PRI costs assumption and also based on the major DID providers in GAT
and so on. Anyhow, I'd like to hear more about any other providers that are out
there and can actually do it cheaper.

incorrect. We already have several providers we work with closely that
provides great quality of service, who has the ability to terminate several
hundred concurrent channels to anyone who can accept SIP or H323 signaling.

differ. We have deployed solutions at clients, with all the channels they
need. And what you are indicating as not being possible, is fortunately 100%
possible.
Out of fairness to others here who are considering using VoIP for their
business, or thinking of providing VoIP services, the price range of $14-$15
per channel is 100% possible. We know it because we have purchased and
harnessed these type of services before, not only for our own business use, but
also for our clients.
Also fyi., anyone who requires 10 or more channels, can acquire the
services of their CLEC. When you are commiting to 10 or more channels
monthly, most CLECs are pretty smart to work hard to earn your business. Of
course anything less than 10 channels, they don't want to talk to you :).

channels. You can always try DID providers like LES.net, unlimitel.ca and so
on. But that many channels is not possible unless you really want and then if
you raise the price I might be able to help you.
