If I may add a 2 cents here.....
 
ISP such as videotron might block SMTP 25 from your client's network whereas 
the test by David below will confirm or deny it. But in case, ISP is blocking 
SMTP 25, you might want to look into alternative such as smarthosting into a 
non-standard smtp port or smarthosting into the ISP themselves
