I am looking for asterisk or trixbox backup that will work on different hardware. What would be the good approach for this? Any suggestion is appreciated.

Big issue with an iso type backup is possible hardware differences, and this is for a bare metal restore, so you need to be there to do the install. However, recently since we have moved to a new office with a static IP and fast internet - we have decided to move it closer to home. Problem is we do not want to re-setup everything from scratch (Asterisk 1.2, FreePBX, MySQL, record files, crazy rules, and IVR prompts) as that by itself would take weeks. So my question is = is it possible to move it all in some kind of ISO file from our Miami server to our Montreal server, and how it would be possible to do so. --- Alex Kovalenko toll free 877.585.VOIP [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.VoIPGizmos.ca Canadian VoIP Store "IP Phones, FXS Adaptors, PBXs, Digium cards, and more..." --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Mike Ashton Quality Track Intl Ph: 647-722-2092 x 301 Cell: 416-527-4995 Fax: 416-352-6043 QTI CONFIDENTIAL AND PROPRIETARY INFORMATION The contents of this material are confidential and proprietary to Quality Track International, Inc. and may not be reproduced, disclosed, distributed or used without the express permission of an authorized representative of QTI.
